Manila police prepares for Santo Niño de Parish Celebration

MANILA, Philippines—The Manila Police District (MPD) will deploy 592 police personnel for the Santo Niño de Tondo Parish celebration this weekend.

MPD Spokesman Chief Inspector Erwin Margarejo said on Friday that aside from the 592 police personnel, there will also be 278 volunteers that will be deployed around the Tondo area during the festivities on Saturday and Sunday (January 14 and 15).

Margarejo also announced the re-routing of traffic during the festivities.

He said public utility vehicles from Caloocan should turn left to Tayuman then right to Dagupan while those from Tayuman should go along Kapulong then will make a U-turn to Raja Bago and those vehicles passing by Moriones should go to Road 10 towards their destinations.
