Youth formation workshop set
The Outstanding Students of the Philippines – Alumni Community Central Visayas (Tospac-7) and RFM Foundation Inc., in cooperation with the Commission on Higher Education in Central Visayas (CHED-7), will hold simultaneous Youth Hours in the cities of Cebu and Dumaguete on Jan. 28.
Tospac-7 representative Rolando Villamero Jr. said youth hours is an annual youth formation workshop focused on the three pillars of the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines program: academic and professional excellence, leadership and social responsibility.
It also serves as a marketing tool to signal the start of TOSP 2012 search in the Philippines.
The TOSP search started in 1961 with the aim of recognizing student leaders, who will in turn inspire and galvanize the youth to help in nation building.
The Youth Hours 2012 will be participated by student leaders and administrators from colleges and universities in the region.
They are chosen based on the three pillars.
