Bay, Laguna imposes liquor ban amid coronavirus crisis

LOS BAÑOS, Laguna – The municipality of Bay, Laguna imposed a liquor ban to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019  (COVID-19). liquor ban In an announcement posted on social media Wednesday night, the municipal government said that the purchase and sale of alcoholic beverages are prohibited starting March 18 in the whole town. The municipal government also announced that it will maintain a skeletal workforce from March 18 to April 12, except for the offices of the mayor and key frontline service departments.
