BAGUIO CITY –– Classes at all levels, both in public and private schools, were suspended in Benguet province on Friday.

Benguet Governor Melchor Diclas said the suspension would run from March 13 to 22 as a precaution against exposure to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Local health officials said the Cordillera region had recorded 12 patients under investigation (PUI) for COVID-19 as of Friday. One of them is a 10-month-old baby. A foreigner has also been listed among the PUIs./lzb
