Cop shot dead in Makati
MANILA, Philippines — A policeman was gunned down in Makati City by motorcycle-riding assailants on Monday morning.
The cop was identified as Police Major Jeffrey Dalson who is assigned at the office of the Philippine National Police (PNP) chief.
Police said the victim was aboard his parked vehicle along J.P. Rizal extension corner 29th Avenue when an unidentified man aboard a motorcycle shot him.

A witness said that the suspect riding the motorcycle alighted and shot Dalson seven times, after which he ran away.
PNP chief Gen. Archie Gamboa said that the agency will investigate the incident.
