29 more patients test negative for COVID-19, may now go home
MANILA, Philippines — Twenty-nine more patients earlier checked for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) were discharged from different hospitals after testing negative for the deadly virus, according to the Department of Health (DOH).
This brings to 509 the total number of patients under investigation (PUIs) discharged from health facilities as of Tuesday morning, based on the DOH’s case tracker.
Another 98 PUIs remain admitted in different hospitals nationwide. Only one patient was added to those being treated compared to Monday’s data released by the health department.
The DOH said the number of patients checked for COVID-19 is now at 610, including those discharged, admitted, and the three Chinese nationals who earlier tested positive for the virus. Of those who tested positive, one died on February 1, one already recovered, and another already flew back to China.
On Monday, the number of PUIs released from hospitals was at 480.

Bicol Region – 0 admitted, 12 discharged
Ilocos Region – 0 admitted, 11 discharged

Caraga – 0 admitted, 3 discharged
BARMM – 0 admitted, 1 discharged
