Alias ‘Bikoy’ posts bail over conspiracy to commit sedition case

MANILA, Philippines – Self-proclaimed “Bikoy,” the hooded figure in the video series “Ang Totoong Narcolist,” has posted bail for his temporary liberty over the conspiracy to commit sedition case filed against him by the government.

Peter Joemel Advincula, alias Bikoy, accompanied by his counsel Atty. Lorenzo Gadon, went to the Quezon City Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 130 and posted P10,000 bail.

Advincula, together with former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV, is among the 11 accused of involvement in the production of the “Ang Totoong Narcolist” video-series.

He has been indicted by State prosecutors even if his testimony was the center of the case which was filed in court.

However, government prosecutors were not sure if they would ask for his discharge as a State witness or just a regular witness.

Aside from Trillanes and Advincula, others charged were Joel Saracho, Boom Enriquez, a certain “Monique,” Yolanda Ong, Vicente Romano III, Fr. Albert Alejo, Fr. Flaviano Villanueva, Jonnel Sangalang, and Eduardo Acierto. Villanueva and Alejo already posted bail last week.
