Caap cites Bacolod airport staff for honesty
The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (Caap) on Friday commended a security screening officer at the Bacolod-Silay Airport who returned a black pouch containing P78,200 in cash left by a passenger on Jan. 31.
The security officer, Gilmore Guadaña, found the pouch at the final check-in area of the terminal.
He immediately turned over the item to the airport’s lost and found section.
The pouch, containing P78,200 cash, ATM cards, identification cards and other valuables, belonged to a certain Yorica Landicho, a passenger of Philippine Airlines flight bound for Manila. —Jerome Aning
