Duterte reaches new personal record in satisfaction rating — SWS
MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte reached a new personal record after receiving a net public satisfaction rating of +72, results from Social Weather Stations (SWS) showed on Tuesday.
The survey, conducted from Dec. 13 to Dec. 16, 2019, said the President’s satisfaction rating was higher by seven points from +65 in September 2019. The pollster also noted that Duterte’s satisfaction rating surpassed his June 2019 rating of +68.
Specifically, SWS said the December 2019 survey found that 82 percent Filipinos were satisfied with Duterte’s performance, eight percent were undecided, while 10 percent were dissatisfied.
The pollster used 1,200 interviews of Filipinos aged 18 years old and above nationwide. Of which, 300 were interviewed in Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
The survey used sampling error margins of ±3% for national percentages, and ±6% each for Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, SWS said.

Duterte’s promises
The survey also discovered that 52 percent of Filipinos were expecting that the tough-talking President will fulfill most of his promises.
Of the 52 percent, 16 percent said Duterte will fulfill nearly all his promises, 36 percent said most, 42 percent answered a few and five percent answered none or almost none.
