4 nabbed in separate drug stings in Bicol
LEGAZPI CITY — Four alleged illegal drug pushers were arrested on Saturday night by anti-narcotics operatives while selling suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) in separate police drug stings in two Camarines provinces.
The police drug operatives seized a total of 20 sachets of shabu and a sachet of marijuana, according to Police Maj. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson.
Suspect Ariel Pontanar, 27, resident of Barangay (village) Malitbog in Minalabac town in Camarines Sur province, was caught with three sachets of shabu in a buy-bust operation by police operatives at around 5 p.m.
In Pasacao town, also in Camarines Sur, police arrested at around 11:30 p.m. Felipe Masangcay, 32, in his village of San Cirilo. The suspect yielded nine sachets of shabu.
In Camarines Norte, police operatives collared Madonna Pla, 31, of Barangay III in Daet town, who was selling shabu to an undercover agent at around 8:15 p.m. and yielded four sachets containing suspected meth.
Suspect Alexander Pajares, 35, of Mercedes town, also in Camarines Norte, was caught in possession with five sachets of shabu and a sachet containing suspected marijuana.
