Couple with P34-M worth of ‘shabu’ nabbed in Cavite
SAN PEDRO CITY, Philippines -A couple was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Imus City in Cavite province, authorities said Sunday.
The operation was carried out by the Cavite police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in a mall in Barangay (village) Tanzang Luma 1 around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, a police report said.
Authorities identified the suspects as Emard and Gretchen Jimenez, both residents of Taguig City.

Recovered from them were about five kilos of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) worth about P34 million.
Cavite police chief Col. Marlon Santos said the suspects are now under the custody of the PDEA for further investigation.
