2 suspected ‘shabu’ peddlers, 1 ‘user’ nabbed in Lucena
LUCENA CITY –– Police nabbed two suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) peddlers and one alleged drug user in buy-bust operations here on Wednesday.
Anti-illegal drugs operatives collared Noel Regalario, 52, after he sold shabu to a police agent in a transaction in Barangay 5 around 7 p.m., Lt. Colonel Romulo Albacea, Lucena police chief, said in a report.
Construction worker Wilbert Valencia, 29, was also arrested while buying shabu from Regalario during the buy-bust operation.
Regalario yielded eight plastic sachets of shabu worth P8,900 in the street market.
Earlier, policemen also busted Markgil Porlay, 27, in another drug sting in Barangay Ibabang Dupay around 2:20 p.m.
Authorities seized five plastic sachets of shabu worth P7,770 in the street market.
