Central Visayas private workers get P18 daily wage hike

CEBU CITY –– The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board in Central Visayas has approved an increase of P18 in the daily minimum pay of workers in the private sector to help them cope with the rising prices of basic commodities.

The adjustment would raise the minimum wage of workers in Central Visayas to up P404 per day.

House helpers in Metro Cebu will receive P5,000 per month, while those in other places in the region will receive P4,000. /lzb
