3.5 quake hits Leyte, Biliran
TACLOBAN CITY –– A 3.5 magnitude earthquake shook parts of Leyte and Biliran provinces on Wednesday afternoon with the epicenter traced to Kananga town in Leyte.
The 12:54 p.m. was of tectonic origin, said reports from the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
The tremor was felt in Ormoc City at Intensity 3 and Naval, Biliran at Intensity 2.
No damage was reported.
