Student shot dead; body found on street in QC
A 20-year-old student was shot and killed in front of an eatery in Quezon City on Tuesday night, according to a police report.
PO3 Joselito Gagaza of the homicide section of the Quezon City Police District identified the victim as Melber Jacinto, a resident of Riverside Street in Barangay Commonwealth, Quezon City.
Gagaza said the victim was shot repeatedly at close range by a still unidentified man while he was buying food from a nearby eatery at 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
According to the police investigator, the victim was rushed to East Avenue Medical Center where he was declared dead on arrival by attending doctors.
Police investigators have yet to determine the motive for the killing.
Meanwhile, a man with a hack wound in the neck was found inside a sack that had been placed inside a garbage bag.

The victim was described as 5’ 6” tall, of slim build and with fair skin. He was dressed in a gray pair of shorts and a sleeveless white T-shirt.
