2 alleged ‘shabu’ peddlers fall in Quezon buy-busts
LUCENA CITY –– Two suspected drug pushers were arrested in buy-bust operations in Pagbilao town and Lucena City on Monday.
Anti-illegal drugs operatives collared motorcycle rider Rustico Rafa, 45, after he sold shabu (crystal meth) to a police agent and an informant along the Maharlika Highway in Barangay Bukal, Pagbilao at 5:45 p.m., Colonel Audie Madrideo, Quezon police director, said in a report.
Police confiscated from Rafa two sachets of shabu with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P1,850.
Police said the suspect conducted his illegal drugs peddling business aboard his motorcycle that they confiscated.
In Lucena City, policemen arrested Joey Galvez, 30, in another drug sting in Barangay 1 around 7:15 p.m.
Authorities seized five sachets of shabu worth P6,105 from Galvez, who is in the police drugs watchlist. Delfin T. Mallari Jr. /lzb
