Tuesday weather forecast: Cloudy skies with a chance of rain
MANILA, Philippines – Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail on Tuesday over Western Visayas, Davao region and Caraga region due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone, the state weather bureau announced.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), in its daily weather forecast, added that Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
Pagasa has warned of possible floods and landslides in rain-affected areras.
A northeasterly surface windflow will prevail over Luzon today, Tuesday, Pagasa added.
Northern Luzon has forecast moderate to strong wind speeds moving northeastward, with moderate to rough coastal conditions.
Meanwhile, the Visayas and the rest of Luzon will have light to moderate winds, moving in the northeast direction, while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
