Farmer shoots farmer in Isabela
JONES, Isabela – A 20-year-old farmer shot and killed another farmer after they left a neighbor’s wake in Minuri village at 1:40 a.m. on Saturday (Sept. 21), police said.
Sherwin Nastor, 36, was gunned down by Glen Enriquez following a confrontation, after they left the wake in separate motorcycles, according to Police Captain Frances Littaua, Isabela police spokesperson.
Police said Nastor and Enriquez were intoxicated and were seen arguing at the wake.
Nastor and a companion rode off in a motorcycle and were allegedly tailed by Enriquez and another man in a second motorcycle.
When the riders stopped, Enriquez pulled out a handgun and repeatedly fired at Nastor. The suspect has been detained. Villamor Visaya Jr./lzb
