Pagasa: Wet Monday in Northern, Central Luzon due to ‘Habagat’

MANILA, Philippines – Scattered rain showers are expected in parts of Northern and Central Luzon Monday due to the southwest monsoon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

In its daily forecast, Pagasa said Metro Manila, Ilocos region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon and Rizal will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

The state weather bureau warned of possible flash floods and landslides in affected areas.

The rest of the country, meanwhile, will experience partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

Pagasa added that temperature on Monday will range  27.5°C to 32.2°C. /gsg
