Motorcycle driver dead in Quezon road mishap
LUCENA CITY — A motorcycle rider died after he accidentally slid along the Maharlika Highway in Calauag town in Quezon province shortly before midnight Thursday, police said.
The Calauag police station reported that Renato Morano, 46, was negotiating a sharp curve around 10:45 p.m. when he accidentally ran over a big stone causing him to lose control of the motorbike in Barangay Madlandungan.
The wayward vehicle consequently slid on the concrete highway and gravely injured the victim.
