MANILA, Philippines — The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has filed a criminal case against two election officers in Muntinlupa City who allegedly tampered with the list of voters in the 2016 elections.

The case was filed against Election Officer Ronald Allan Sindo, and Election Assistant Michael Robles.

The Comelec said Sindo and Robles violated Section 4 of Republic Act No. 8189 which prohibits the “change of alteration or transfer or the precinct assignment of a voter in the permanent list of voters without his expressed written consent.”
