3 dead in Pikit, Cotabato ambush
PIKIT, Cotabato –– Three persons were killed in an ambush by unidentified gunmen in Barangay Bulol of Pikit, Cotabato Monday, August 5.
Police Captain Mautin P. Pangandigan, Officer-in-Charge of the Pikit municipal police station, identified the fatalities as Maan Pananggilan, 32; Unday Abdulkadir, 29; and Mohamed Ahad, 28, all residents of Barangay Rajahmuda here.
The victims were going home aboard a black motorcycle when they were fired upon by four gunmen as they reached Sitio Dangiya around 3:30 p.m.

All three died on the spot, Pangandigan said.
He added that an initial police probe pointed to personal grudge as the motive for the attack. /lzb
