Boy admits killing man
Saying he was bothered by his conscience, a 17-year-old boy surrendered to authorities and admitted killing a man in barangay Buhisan, Cebu City.
The boy said he surrendered to spare other people who may be implicated in the crime.
The surrender came more than a week after Felix Alsado, 23, was killed. The body of Alsado was found dumped in a bushy area last Dec. 9.
The victim was reportedly a homosexual.
The boy said he agreed to go with Alsado in exchange for cash. The boy said he and the victim argued when the victim did not pay the exact amount they agreed.
The boy said he hit the victim with a piece of wood in the head and brought him to a hilly area.
