PPCRV to release report on transparency server’s logs on Monday
MANILA, Philippines — The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) will be releasing their report on the transparency server’s logs on Monday, Commission of Elections (Comelec) commissioner Rowena Guanzon said Sunday.
The audit logs would help explain the seven-hour glitch that delayed the arrival of election results to the transparency server on election day.
“They (PPCRV) are doing a painful work of finding out if something went wrong, maliciously or innocently, with our transparency server. All these technical details will be explained [on Monday],” Guanzon told reporters at the PPCRV command center in Paco, Manila.
Guanzon, however, refused to discuss the initial observations made by PPCRV.
PPCRV spokesperson Agnes Gervacio confirmed this in a separate interview but also refused to divulge any information on the report.
“It’s gonna be the whole observation… We are confirming that [the report] will be released tomorrow,” Gervacio said.

“Ang logs ay parang historical record yan, kung ano yung ginagawa ng computer at that time, kung ano yung operations niya, at kung ano yung mga incidents na nangyayari sa makina,” Villanueva said. (Editor: Julie Espinosa)
