Laguna Rep. Sol Aragones gets reelected

SANTA CRUZ, LAGUNA — Reelectionist Marisol Aragones-Sampelo, also known as Sol Aragones, was proclaimed Member, House of Representatives for the third district of Laguna at 10:53 a.m Wednesday at the provincial capitol here.

Sampelo won by a landslide with 214,899 votes, beating Maria Cristina Villamor and King Cong Mediano who received 6,078 and 3,508 votes, respectively.

A former television journalist, Sampelo served as congresswoman since 2013. (Editor: Leti Boniol)
