Sotto to people who think ‘Bikoy’ is credible: ‘Nakakahiya’
MANILA, Philippines — Shame on those who claim that “Bikoy” is a credible witness, Senate President Vicente Tito” Sotto III said on Wednesday.
At the regular Kapihan sa Manila Bay held in the Senate, Sotto revealed that Peter Joemel Advincula, who claims to be “Bikoy,” was the same person, who reached out to his office in 2016.
“Bikoy” is the hooded man in “Ang Totoong Narcolist” videos, who linked President Rodrigo Duterte’s relatives and his allies to the illegal drug trade.
Advincula, according to Sotto, first approached his office in 2016 through his chief political affairs, Hutch Altavas.
He said Advincula even executed a six-page affidavit dated December 2016, a copy of which was later distributed to the media during the forum.
In the affidavit, Advincula linked former President Benigno Aquino III, former Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa, former Interior Secretary Mar Roxas, and former Justice Secretary and now detained Leila de Lima to the illegal drug trade.

“Like for example, I cannot imagine President Noynoy Aquino going to that underground safehouse in Misibis with Ochoa, De Lima and exchanging money and exchanging shabu,” he said.
“I can’t imagine that happening…Napakahirap paniwalaan ang kwento nito” he Sotto added.
Asked then about the credibility of Advincula as a witness, the Senate leader said: “Definitely the person is not credible at all.” /muf
