MANILA, Philippines — Marikina Police Chief Col. Redrico Maranan questioned the proposal of Marikina City Mayor Marcelino Teodoro to split the cost of gasoline for police vehicles between the local government unit (LGU) and the Philippine National Police (PNP).

“Unang una, yung [Philippine National Police] may sariling allocation kami para sa aming PNP mobile cars and motorcycle. ‘Yung LGU meron din sila may sariling allocation sa mobile car and motorcycle,” Maranan told INQUIRER.net in a phone interview on Wednesday.
