ILIGAN CITY — A former barangay official included in President Duterte’s narcolist was arrested in an anti-drug operation in Purok 7, Barangay Upper Hinaplanon here on Wednesday.

Police Capt. Neil Mark Quipanes, deputy chief of the Iligan city police station 1, said Al Daud Cali, a businessman selling construction materials, was arrested after three medium-sized sachets believed to contain shabu (crystal meth) worth about P105,000 was recovered inside his house during the search operation.

“He was included in the narcolist that PRRD (President Rodrigo Roa Duterte) previously released,” Quipanes noted.

Capt. Felix Rabago, former Iligan police station 1 commander, confirmed that Cali had submitted himself to the police to clear his name during an earlier Oplan Tokhang.
