Pagasa said the tropical depression was last spotted at 1,175 km East of Mindanao still outside the country’s area of responsibility.

It had maximum sustained winds of 45 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness up to 60 kph. It was moving west at a speed of 10 kph.

Meanwhile, Batanes, Cagayan and Isabela will have cloudy skies with light rain but due to the northeast monsoon or hanging amihan.

Pagasa did not expect any significant effect of amihan.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will also have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers caused by localized thunderstorms. /cbb
