Sara Duterte says Otso Diretso is ‘dark, depressing and obsessed with debate’

MANILA, Philippines — Presidential daughter and Davao City Mayor Sara Carpio-Duterte slammed Otso Diretso’s senatorial bets, comparing them to a “blackhole” and describing them as “depressing.”

“Kung ang HNP (Hugpong ng Pagbabago) supporter ay sun at ang HNP ang moon sila [Otso Diretso] po ay parang black hole,” she told reporters after HNP’s campaign sortie in Pateros, Manila.

“They are very depressing, dark and disorganized,” she added.

Duterte-Carpio issued this statement after Otso Diretso bet Romulo Macalintal asked her to send a representative so that both parties may arrange details for the debate.

Duterte-Carpio, campaign manager of HNP, said the opposition party was depressing because of their obsession on the debate.

“Bara-bara. Very unprofessional and then ngayon uutusan ako? I am the chairman of HNP tas gagawin akong secretary nung  grupo na merong obsessive disorder or fixation sa debate,” she said

However, when asked about Otso Diretso’s plan to ask the Commission om Elections (Comelec) to facilitate the debate, Carpio called it a “good step.”

“That is a good step kung ganyan na yung iniisip nila wag nila ako utusan,” she said.

The Otso Diretso senatorial candidates are set to go to the Comelec office at 11 a.m. to file a letter of request on the debate between HNP and their party.  /muf
