Magnitude 4.3 quake recorded off Davao Occidental
MANILA, Philippines – Davao Occidental was hit by a 4.3-magnitude earthquake on Wednesday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
Phivolcs said in its earthquake bulletin that the quake hit 207 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos, Davao Occidental, at 8:11 a.m.
It had a depth of 124 km and was tectonic in origin.
No aftershocks or damage could be expected from the temblor, Phivolcs said. /cbb
