Police fish man’s body out of Pasig River in Makati

MANILA, Philippines – Policemen found the body of an unidentified man floating in the Pasig River in Makati City on Sunday morning.

The Southern Police District reported that at 7 a.m., Police Officer 3 Jose Cinco and Police Officer 1 Jay Geronimo found the body in the river in Barangay Cembo in Makati City.

The report said the cadaver was facedown when found. It was in a black polo shirt, striped black and white “malong.” It did not have any shoes.

The body bore no sign of external injuries, police added. /cbb
