Expect more cold mornings, cool days – Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines – The public will continue to enjoy cold weather as the northeast monsoon or amihan continues to prevail across the country, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Sunday.
Pagasa weather specialist Meno Mendoza said the northeast monsoon would bring cloudy skies with light rain over Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Surigao Provinces, Aurora and Quezon.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rain also due to the northeast monsoon.
Mendoza said that temperature in Metro Manila could drop to 21 degrees Celsius.
No storm is expected to form within the area of responsibility of the Philippines, Mendoza added. /cbb
