2 LPAs to bring cloudy skies, light rains on Christmas Day
MANILA, Philippines — The trough of two low pressure areas (LPA) will bring cloudy skies and light rains over parts of the country.
The trough of LPA was last spotted over the West Philippine Sea, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said on Tuesday.
The LPA on the eastern side of Mindanao is seen to enter the Philippine area of responsibility within the day or on Wednesday.
Eastern Visayas, Caraga and Davao Region and the province of Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms.
Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands, Central and Northern Luzon will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rains due to the northeast monsoon.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have fair weather and chances of isolated light rains due to localized thunderstorms./lb
