There were 3,034 reported cases of dengue in Quezon City from January 1 to August 6 this year, one of the highest among the country’s cities and municipalities. This was 29 percent of the 10,487 reported dengue cases in the National Capital Region during the same period.—Schatzi Quodala, Inquirer Research
