Lani Mercado ‘hoping for the best’ in upcoming ruling on husband’s plunder case
Bacoor City Mayor Lani Mercado-Revilla is “hoping for the best” that the court would release a favorable ruling for her husband former Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla.
Mercado-Revilla said on Monday that the Sandiganbayan 1st Division is set to release its decision on the plunder case of her husband on Friday.
Revilla is currently detained at the Philippine National Police custodial center over the pork barrel scam.

Revilla was detained together with Jinggoy Estrada and Juan Ponce Enrile over the same issue. Both Estrada and Enrile are also seeking a Senate seat.
According to Lani, their family does not need material things as Christmas gifts this year; instead, they would rather ask for prayers for the favorable ruling of the court.
“Hoping for the best this coming Friday, patuloy pong panalangin para kay Senator Bong Revilla.” /je
