A 21-year-old student was arrested Thursday in Marikina City for possession of 11 sachets of suspected “shabu” with an estimated street value of P180,000.

Operatives of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of Marikina City Police launched the buy-bust operation after receiving a tip that suspect Asmin Pangandag is engaged in peddling illegal drugs, a police report said Thursday.

Police said an undercover agent managed to buy a sachet of “shabu” from the suspect in a fast-food restaurant. Pangandag was nabbed during the bust, police said.
