COTABATO CITY – A fire of still unknown origin gutted a grocery center here on Sunday, destroying P7 million worth of goods, fire officials said.

Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Cotabato City spokesperson Fire Officer Aldrin Jason Nara said the fire started at the second floor of Grocerama building along Bonifacio Street, Barangay Poblacion 6, Cotabato City at 7 p.m. Sunday.

Nara said the 2-story building was made of concrete on the ground floor and of light materials on the second floor.
