Former First Lady Imelda Marcos said her absence during the promulgation of her cases at the Sandiganbayan was due to “infirmities.”

In a motion filed by the camp of Mrs. Marcos before the Sandiganbayan on November 12, it stated that “multiple organ infirmities” prevented her from attending the promulgation.

“The Accused was suffering from multiple organ infirmities and was under strict orders by her physician to refrain from stressful conditions that will put her at risk for heart and brain attack and recurrence of seizure,” Marcos said in her motion.
