Light to heavy traffic on NLEX tollways — MPTC

Light to heavy traffic were monitored on the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) tollways as of 9:28 a.m., Thursday.

According to the  Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC), the Mindanao Toll Plaza is experiencing high traffic volume which causes the operations to slow down.

The MPTC said the traffic build up is approximately 800 meters long from the plaza, which has 10 toll collection points.

Light traffic, however, is being experienced both at the Balintawak Toll Plaza and Balintawak Southbound.

Light traffic is also seen in all other areas including other toll plazas and interchanges, the MPTC said.

Hourly traffic updates are posted on twitter while the traffic situation in some toll plazas are live on Facebook for motorists who want to monitor the situation. /muf
