Over 26K visitors in eastern Metro Manila cemeteries as of 9 a.m. — EPD
The Eastern Police District (EPD) has recorded over 26,000 visitors to cemeteries located at the eastern side of the Metro, as of 9 a.m. Thursday, All Saints’ Day, the first day of “Undas.”
A report from the EPD’s District Tactical Operations Center, said some 26,025 visitors entered 16 cemeteries in Pasig City, Mandaluyong City, Marikina City, and San Juan City.
The San Juan Cemetery in San Juan City recorded the most number of visitors at 7,200, followed by the Loyola Memorial Park in Marikina City with 6,600 visitors.
Meanwhile, the Pasig Public Cemetery and Catholic Cemetery, both located in Pasig City, recorded 4,000 and 3,500 visitors, respectively.
The EPD said the situation in all cemeteries remains generally peaceful.
