Bomb pranksters target Pangasinan high school
DAGUPAN CITY —- Pranksters sent a bomb threat to a Pangasinan high school on Friday morning, but failed to disrupt school operations because its students were on their semestral break.
The police deployed a team to the Pangasinan National High School in Lingayen town but found no trace of a bomb.
The unsigned threat sent to Principal Elvira Viray warned of an explosive device placed at the school premises. She alerted the police around 6 a.m.
On Thursday, the University of Luzon also received a bomb threat, prompting university officials to send students out of the campus. The police, however, found no explosive devices.
Bulacan schools were also targeted by pranksters in the first week of October. /kga
