Locsin curses at ‘useless’ admin officials
On the verge of formally assuming the post of foreign secretary, the country’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Teodoro Locsin Jr., let loose an expletive-laden post on social media to complain about the supposed indifference of other administration officials.
Locsin cursed at the “useless” officials on Twitter. He did not name them, though.
Other than Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea and former Special Assistant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go, he said, no other officials helped him while he served as the country’s ambassador to the United Nations in New York in the past two years.
Voting for Go
“I am voting for Bong Go. The only link I had to the President from New York other than Bingbong (Medialdea),” Locsin tweeted on Tuesday, reacting to news about Go’s Senate candidacy.
“The rest were useless; no one helped me w/ my NY (New York) Mission. Zilch, mga putangina kayo (you sons of bitches). I got no help; zero support; and yet I got the hard job done with full and brutal honesty,” he said.

Cayetano was supposed to meet with Locsin over lunch on Tuesday for a final briefing.
President Rodrigo Duterte appointed Locsin ambassador to the United Nations in September 2016.
It was the first diplomatic assignment for Locsin, a former Makati City representative and former journalist and publisher like his father and namesake.
He served as spokesperson for President Corazon Aquino and speechwriter for Aquino and former Presidents Joseph Estrada and Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
Locsin often turns to Twitter to give his opinions on national issues.
