Murder suspect dies in shootout with police

MANILA, Philippines — A murder suspect chose to die in a shootout with police rather than accept the warrant of arrest served by the lawmen in Taytay Rizal Thursday.

Taytay Police Director Senior Superintendent Manuel Cesar Prieto identified the suspect as Oliver Tabig, a resident of  Barangay(village).

Prieto said the policemen recovered a caliber .45 from Tabig.
