Couple, son nabbed in Legazpi City buy-bust
LEGAZPI CITY – A couple and their son were arrested in a drug raid by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on Monday night.
Christian Frivaldo, acting director of PDEA in Bicol, said William Chua, his wife Elvira and son Eric Ian, were arrested at their residence in Barangay Bitano, around 8:30 p.m.
He said PDEA agents recovered about 35 grams of suspected shabu (crystal meth) with a street value of P210,000.
The Chua family were considered high-value targets and were included in the PDEA illegal drug watch list, Frivaldo said. MAR S. ARGUELLES
