2 storms to bring rains to north Luzon
Two weather disturbances will continue to enhance the southwest monsoon in Luzon, the state weather bureau said Tuesday.
Typhoon Soulik and Severe Tropical Storm Cimaron are not seen to enter the Philippine area of responsibility but will trigger monsoon rains, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
Monsoon rains are expected over Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Batanes, Babuyan Group of Islands, Zambales and Bataan.
Metro Manila, the rest of Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Mindoro provinces, and Northern Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms.
The rest of the country will have cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers.
