5 drug suspects nabbed in Masbate
LEGAZPI CITY – Anti-narcotics operatives rounded up and collared on Saturday five suspected drug personalities in a police operation in Baleno town in Masbate province, a police report said.
Arrested for illegal drug possession around 3 p.m. in Barangay Lahong were Avelino Malaet, Sr., his wife Sheryll, Joaquin Carlota Jr., Herbert Esquilona, and Marly Magalang, said Bicol police spokesperson Senior Inspector Maria Luisa Calubaquib.
Calubaquib said search warrants were served simultaneously at the suspects’ houses in Lahong.

Recovered from the search were several sachets containing suspected shabu (crystal meth) of still undetermined value.
