/ 05:55 AM July 04, 2018

Oil companies raised pump prices by 55 to 70 centavos per liter amid lower supply from the United States and fears of production cuts in Libya and Venezuela.

The latest round of price increases added 55 centavos per liter to diesel costs and 65 centavos per liter to gasoline.

As of Monday, firms that increased prices were Pilipinas Shell, PTT, Total, Unioil, Seaoil, Flying V and Chevron. Shell, Seaoil, Flying V and Caltex also raised kerosene prices by 70 centavos per liter.

As a result, diesel prices now range from P41.20 to P46.15 per liter while gasoline, P46.42 to P56.60 per liter. —Ron Domingo
