ANGELES CITY — A retired American serviceman, who allegedly sold illegal drugs to expatriates here, and his alleged Australian customer were arrested on Saturday in a police sting operation in Barangay Malabanias.

Gary Timothy Lamb, 56, a former member of the United States Navy, was arrested in his apartment at 357 Pinatubo St. in Clark View Subdivision by the drug enforcement units of the Angeles and the Central Luzon police.

Chief Supt. Amador Corpus, Central Luzon police director, said the police also detained Wayne Michael Walsh, 58, and a Filipina, identified as 30-year-old Mary Jane Mina, who were in the apartment when Lamb  was caught selling drugs to an undercover police agent.

The police seized six sachets of suspected shabu (crystal meth), and three medium-sized sachets of dried marijuana leaves, according to Supt. Rommel Batangan, chief of the Central Luzon drug enforcement unit. /ee
