A ridge of high pressure area will affect the northern and central Luzon, the state weather bureau said Sunday.

In its 4 a.m. forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that temperatures may reach up to 36 degrees celsius in the country.

Pagasa said that Tuguegarao City would have this high temperature while Metro Manila would have a 34 degrees celsius heat.
